Job Purpose/ Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled IT Support Technician to join our team. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting problems related to hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backup and recovery procedures, system upgrades, and patches.
- Ensure that IT systems and infrastructure are secure, reliable, and perform optimally.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, diagnose problems, and recommend solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other technical teams and stakeholders to ensure that systems and infrastructure are integrated and functioning correctly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in IT technical support or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of hardware and software components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Experience with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Industry certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Network+, are preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other technical teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
