Role Overview:
As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for assisting users with technical issues, troubleshooting system problems, and ensuring smooth IT operations.
Responsibilities:
- Offer first-line technical support for software, hardware, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and update IT systems and applications.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security access.
- Monitor IT systems and maintain accurate records of support requests.
- Provide remote assistance and clear technical guidance.
- Work closely with the IT team to enhance system efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in an IT support or similar role.

Job Purpose/ Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to help design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying and managing cloud-based solutions, ensuring their security, scalability, and reliability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to optimizing cloud services and fostering continuous improvements within our cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Configure and manage cloud services, including virtual machines, containers, storage, databases, and networking.
- Monitor and ensure the performance, security, and availability of cloud applications and services.
- Collaborate with development teams to facilitate the deployment and integration of cloud-based applications.
- Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates for efficient cloud infrastructure management.
- Regularly assess cloud resources to ensure optimization and cost-efficiency.
- Implement security protocols and best practices to protect cloud-based systems and data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, working with technical teams and vendors as needed
- Stay up-to-date with new cloud technologies and trends, providing recommendations for their integration when appropriate
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing principles, architecture, and industry best practices.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning, management, and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of networking, security protocols, and data protection in cloud environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly with cloud systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Cloud Engineer, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, are a plus.
